How is there a foreign body feeling to return a responsibility in throat?

What's the matter with foreign body in the throat? Foreign body sensation in the throat is a common phenomenon. I always feel that something is blocked in the throat, I can't swallow it, and I have nothing to cough up. Pharyngeal foreign body sensation is called pharyngeal alloesthesia in medicine. The main incidence group is middle-aged and elderly women aged 40 to 50. The symptoms of pharyngeal paraesthesia include foreign body, swelling and dryness in the throat. It seems that something adheres to the pharynx and cannot be removed when drinking or eating.

There are many reasons for foreign body sensation in the pharynx, but the diseases of the larynx and adjacent tissues are the main reasons. Also check whether there are digestive dysfunction, autonomic nerve dysfunction, oral diseases, emotional hyperactivity and so on. The causes of foreign body blockage in pharynx are as follows

(1) Non organic factors

If suffering from pharyngeal neurosis, hysteria, suspected cancer, schizophrenia and anxiety can appear abnormal pharyngeal sensation.

(2) Organic factors

① Chronic inflammation of upper respiratory tract. Rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis and so on can cause pathological changes in the peripheral circulation of pharynx, resulting in nerve dysfunction and sensory abnormalities.

② Neuromuscular spasmodic disease. Pharyngeal muscle spasm and esophageal muscle spasm can induce pharyngeal alloesthesia.

③ Neck disease. Such as styloid process is too long, cervical vertebra bone growth or deformity.

④ Reflux esophagitis and gastropathy. It can produce a reflex blockage or sense of urgency in the pharynx.

⑤ Some patients with anemia also have pharyngeal obstruction and dysphagia.

⑥ In the early stage of pharynx, larynx, esophagus and cardia cancer, it may only have pharyngeal alloesthesia.

In short, if there are symptoms of foreign body sensation in the pharynx, we must go to the hospital in time, because this may be the precursor of serious diseases such as esophageal cancer.
