Shayuanzi 20g, wolfberry 15g, angelica 15g, Shengdi 15g, Danpi 15g, alismatis 15g, antler gum 15g, decoction, one dose a day. The prescription is suitable for patients with Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, essence deficiency and blood deficiency. The common symptoms of patients are: pale complexion, blurred vision, weak waist and knees, emaciated body, dry mouth, not much drinking, hot flashes and night sweats, small tongue, dark red texture, thin fur and thin pulse.
Ziyin Zhuangyang Decoction
Cooked 15 grams, 15 grams of yam meat, 20 grams of Poria cocos, 15 grams of shayuanzi, 15 grams of wolfberry, 3 grams of pilose antler powder (Chongfu), 15 grams of cinnamon, 15 grams of Cuscuta, fried in water, one dose a day. The prescription is suitable for the patients with deficiency of liver and kidney, blood stasis and phlegm blocking kidney collaterals. The common symptoms of the patients are: pale complexion, swollen limbs, blurred vision, weak waist and knees, abdominal distension, vomiting, fat tongue, dark tongue or ecchymosis, white or greasy tongue coating, deep pulse or smooth string.
The above is a basic prescription for treating diabetic nephropathy and renal anemia. It should be added or subtraced according to the specific symptoms of the patients.
