The difference between clay and plasticine

The clay we commonly use now is super light clay. Their raw materials are different, and the clay is tasteless and not greasy. The plasticine has the smell of wheat bran and is relatively moist. At the same time, the super light clay has stronger viscosity and ductility. It can be preserved for a long time after air drying, and the plasticine may crack after air drying for a long time.

Clay and plasticine are things we often use to make handicrafts, among which the most commonly used clay is super light clay. Ultralight clay and plasticine may be similar in appearance, but in fact they are very different.

First of all, super light clay is made of environmentally friendly materials, and it has no taste and no greasy feeling. Plasticine can be called flour dough. It has a smell of natural wheat bran and looks moist.

In addition, the viscosity and ductility of ultra light clay are stronger than plasticine. It is more suitable for making fine articles. Moreover, super light clay is easy to air dry and can be preserved for a long time after air drying. If it is air dried for a long time, the plasticine may crack.
