How did the plane turn on the runway

The aircraft can turn on the runway by braking, hand wheel and pedal. According to different speeds, our turning methods should also change flexibly. Hand wheel is used at low speed, pedal is used at high speed, and brake can be used when necessary.

There are several different situations when the aircraft turns on the runway. First, the brake can be used to turn. The left and right wheels of the aircraft correspond to the left and right directions respectively. When turning, press the brake in the corresponding direction, and the aircraft will turn in that direction.

When the aircraft taxis at low speed on the runway, the front wheels can be controlled through the 'hand wheel' to turn. This hand wheel is actually a reduced version of the steering wheel, which can be operated with one hand. Therefore, when we turn it slowly, we can turn in a small range.

When sliding at high speed, you need to use pedals to turn. The position is almost similar to the place where the car brakes. When you want to turn left, step on your left foot and turn right, so as to make the plane turn slightly.
