Fahai Temple mural is located in the main hall. It was completed in the eighth year of orthodoxy of the Ming Dynasty (1443). It was painted by 15 court calligraphy and painting sergeants Wan Fuqing and Wang Shu. Its artistic level, drawing technology and preservation degree are among the best murals in the Ming Dynasty in China. The murals are painted with ten Buddhists, twenty heavens, eight heavenly dragons, flying fairies, animals and flowers in the Buddhist world. They are painted with fine brushwork and exquisite color. Among them, "water moon Guanyin" is the most.

Guanyin Bodhisattva, Sanskrit avalokites'vara. Water moon Guanyin is one of the 33 figures of Guanyin Bodhisattva. This image has many forms, all related to water and moon. The moon in the water means that there is no entity in the laws.

Among the three screen walls of Fahai Temple, Shuiyue Guanyin is in the middle. In the painting, Guanyin Qu has a right leg, a left knee, a right elbow, a knee rest, a left palm, and a half head sitting on the reef. Although it is a casual sitting position, Guanyin's body remains tall and dignified, and its huge body light envelops it like a full moon. Guanyin's face is like a full moon, willow eyebrows, cherry mouth, high nose and drooping eyelids. She is serene and gentle, dignified and generous, and detached from vulgarity. In particular, 'she wears a brocade skirt around her waist and bares her feet', which makes people feel more compassionate and amiable. This Guanyin statue wears a crown, a gauze on the shoulders, a wreath on the chest, streamers, wreaths, gauze, hair lifted without wind, and dances gracefully. The crown of his head is very gorgeous. There is a statue of Amitabha on it, indicating that Guanyin is both the left flank attendant of Amitabha and his successor; The costumes are rich and complex, interlaced and interspersed with each other. In particular, the white gauze dress, which symbolizes the purity of white and flawless, is outlined with white powder lines. It is painted with hexagonal florets. Each floret is composed of about 48 gold wires. The painting is extremely fine. It can be said that it is amazing. Guanyin is also surrounded by Dharma protector Weituo, white parrot, good money boy and golden hair dog. They all face Guanyin, look pious and respectful, and are well arranged. On the colorful cloud at the top left of the picture, Wei Tuo saluted with a single palm in his left hand and a Dharma protector artifact in his right hand. His armor was shining, and the streamer danced with the colorful cloud. In the lower left corner of the picture, the golden hair is vigorous, bent over and looked up. The hair is raised. The face is ferocious, wild but cute. The white parrot at the top right of the picture stands on a high branch and looks down at the Bodhisattva. Its clean white symbolizes that it has faded all the beauty of the world and is bent on the Buddha. The good fortune boy at the bottom right of the picture is a very classic boy image -- standing up with his head folded, his hands folded, his mouth slightly open, and his expression is pious, as if he is honoring the holy name of Bodhisattva. The whole picture is full of Buddhist charm.
