Liu Yongfu said that although the number of the remaining poverty-stricken population is not large, the task of tackling key problems in deep poverty-stricken areas is still arduous, which is also our main focus. In these areas, some of the 'Three Guarantees' and drinking water safety problems have not been completely solved, some of the infrastructure and industrial development foundation is weak, and some of the endogenous power is insufficient It's very difficult.
Liu Yongfu said that next year is the end of the battle against poverty. It is necessary to ensure that the task of poverty alleviation is fully completed as scheduled, and that we should concentrate our forces to fight the war of deep poverty.
In the next step, we should speed up poverty alleviation in deep poverty-stricken areas such as' three districts and three prefectures'; establish a monitoring and early warning mechanism for poverty prevention and a long-term mechanism for stable poverty alleviation, consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation and prevent poverty alleviation; deepen the cooperation between the East and the West in poverty alleviation and targeted poverty alleviation to help the industrial development of the western region; organize and carry out the "looking back" work to find out and solve problems in time.
