New visa policy in Japan

1. Simplify multiple round trip visa procedures
In three years, if there are two Chinese tourists who travel to Japan as individuals (not as group), the application procedures for multiple round-trip visa will be simplified. Tourists only need to prepare their passport and application form to apply for multiple round-trip visa. Japan does not require proof of financial ability.
2. Simplify visa processing for College Students
Japan has decided to simplify the visa application procedures for undergraduates, postgraduates and students within three years of graduation from 1243 Universities under the Ministry of education. As long as you have a certificate of study, you can apply for a visa for a single trip to Japan for up to 30 days.
3. Electronic visa to be launched
In order to make it more convenient for Chinese tourists to apply for Japanese visa, the Japanese government will first launch the "e-visa" in April 2020, which will accept and issue applications online for Chinese tourists visiting Japan for sightseeing purposes.
