Recently, the traffic analysis report of China's major cities has been released. Which city is the most congested? Which city has the highest happiness index? According to the report, the top 10 congested cities in China in 2019 are Chongqing, Harbin, Beijing, Changchun, Hohhot, Dalian, Jinan, Shenyang, Lanzhou and Xining. Among them, the peak travel delay index of Chongqing is 1.964, ranking first among the top ten cities.
The report also shows that in terms of urban public transport travel in the second quarter, Ningbo, Shijiazhuang, Shaoxing and other cities have higher happiness index of ground public transport travel, which indicates that the comprehensive performance of public transport operation efficiency, reliability and relative urban traffic level of these cities is better.
In terms of highway operation, during the holiday season, the national highway congestion increased by 6.7% year-on-year. During the Qingming Festival, the overall congestion degree of the national highway was the highest, followed by May Day, and the congestion degree of the Dragon Boat Festival was the lowest.
It is worth noting that the report released the "green travel willingness index" for the first time. The higher the index is, the greater the intensity of urban green travel demand is. Nanjing, Lanzhou and Xi'an are among the top three in China.
