South London residents heard a thump on June 30, and then found a dead man in the garden, face down, with blood all over the wall. Police traced the body to a flight from Nairobi to London in Kenya, where bags, water and food were found near the landing gear. This suggests that the man may have been hiding there and fell out during the flight.
Police believe the man was a stowaway and fell off the landing gear of an inbound flight from Kenya Airways to London Heathrow airport, which took nearly nine hours, 6840 kilometers.
