1. Mainland residents do not need to apply for passports to travel to Taiwan, but need to apply for 'two certificates and one endorsement'.
2. Two permits: Datong pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan and entry permit for Taiwan of the Republic of China. 1. Endorsement: G for individual tourism in Taiwan (posted on the second page of Datong certificate)
3. Datong card is to be handled by the Public Security Bureau, with a fee of 30 yuan, a validity period of 5 years, and a G endorsement (a single fee of 20 yuan), a validity period of 6 months. The entry permit issued by Taiwan must be handled by a qualified travel agency on its behalf, and certain documents and corresponding financial certificates must be paid. The valid period of the entry permit is 3 months and the stay time is 16 days and 15 nights. It should be noted that it's better to prepare for Taiwan pass and entry permit at least one month before departure, otherwise you can't start on time.
4. All information required for mainland residents to register for Taiwan tour is as follows:
-Copy of ID card and household register.
-Four 2-inch bareheaded photos on white background.
-The on-the-job personnel shall provide the 'on-the-job certification letter' for more than half a year; (Note: ① the on-the-job certification letter shall indicate the applicant's name, gender, date of birth, date of appointment, current position and monthly wage standard. The company name, address and telephone number shall be indicated and the official seal of the company shall be affixed. ② For less than half a year, the original company shall issue the on-the-job certificate at the same time).
-Enterprises shall provide copies of business license; social organizations and foreign enterprises shall provide copies of registration certificate; administrative institutions shall provide copies of organization code certificate.
-The student shall provide 'copy of student ID' or 'school certificate';
-Retired and unemployed personnel shall provide the original bank deposit certificate with a deposit period of more than three months and more than 50000 yuan in their own name, or the copy of the bank deposit certificate with the same amount.
-Fill in the "application form for people from mainland China to visit Taiwan" and sign in person.
-Passport with good exit record or RMB 50000 deposit.
