The most powerful temple in China

As we all know, China is one of the four ancient civilizations in the world, so our country can have rich cultural heritage and many historical sites, among which dangkong temple is one of them. This technology can be said that it is often praised by people now. There are many dangkong temples in China, eight of which are quite famous. Do you know what they are?

1. Fuqing temple, cangyan mountain, Hebei Province

Fuqing temple in cangyan mountain, Hebei Province, is located in cangyan mountain scenic area, a national scenic spot 40 kilometers south of Jingxing county. The temple is built on a 20 Zhang cliff. Under the cliff, there are craggy rocks. The building and the scenery are integrated together, which is unique.

2. Xuankong Temple, Hengshan, Shanxi

Located in Hunyuan County, Shanxi Province, Hengshan temple, a national key cultural relic protection unit, was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty 1500 years ago. It is the only unique temple in China that combines Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. It has been continuously renovated before it is preserved

3. Yunnan Xishan Xuankong Temple

Sanqingge is located in Luohan mountain, south of Taihua mountain. The cliff of Luohan mountain is connected with the cliff of hangbang mountain in the south. There are nine floors of Sanqing Pavilion and eleven pavilions of Yunnan Xishan temple, which are inlaid on the cliff. Sanqingge is a group of distinctive Taoist buildings. It was originally the summer palace of Liang Wang in Yuan Dynasty. Most of the existing buildings are relics of Daoguang and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty.

4. Xuankong Temple, Xining, Qinghai

Beishan temple in Xining, Qinghai Province is located on the Beishan Mountain 2400 meters away from the coastal area of beihuangshui, Xining city. It is commonly known as "Beishan Temple", also known as Yongxing temple. It was first built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, more than 1900 years ago, and now it is the second largest suspended temple in China.

5. Chaoyang Xuankong Temple, Qi County, Henan Province

Chaoyang temple in Qixian County, Henan Province is located at the waist of Chaoyang mountain, 5 kilometers west of Qixian County, Hebi City, Henan Province. It was built in Wuding seven years of the Eastern Wei Dynasty. It is built on the mountain and grows on the top of the cliff. The cornice is like a castle in the air, so it is called the temple in the sky.

6. Yulin hanging Temple Grottoes

Yulin temple is located about 55 kilometers south of Yulin City, on the cliff of xialuowu city site in the west of shiyadi village. The terrain is steep and the scenery is beautiful. The grottoes were originally the outpost of MengWu city in Xixia. At that time, both Xixia and the Northern Song Dynasty stationed troops here for fortification. Later, temples were built successively in the grottoes. So far, there are 11 caves and temples, the largest of which is Wanfo cave, and the historic sites are well preserved.

7. Daciyan, Xuankong Temple, Zhejiang Province

Daciyan hanging temple in Jiande, Zhejiang Province is a perfect tourist attraction combining Buddhist culture with beautiful mountains and Lishui. The cave building built on the cliff is a major feature of daciyan. The main hall, the hall of the king of Tibet, is half embedded in the rock belly and half overhung, which is very dangerous. It is similar to Hengshan temple in Shanxi Province, so it is called "Jiangnan Temple".

8. Longmen cave, Longxian County, Shaanxi Province

Longmen cave in Longxian County, Shaanxi Province, is located at the foot of Jingfu mountain at the junction of Shaanxi and Gansu in the northwest of Baoji County, Shaanxi Province. It was built in the Western Han Dynasty and flourished in Jin Yuan Dynasty. So far, it is still the holy place of Taoism.
