Wuhan University, referred to as "Wuda", is a famous comprehensive research university in China and the earliest national university established in modern China. In 1893, Zhang Zhidong, governor of Huguang, played the film of Qing government setting up self-improvement school, which opened the prelude of modern Chinese higher education. In 1896, it changed its name to dialect school. In 1913, it was one of the six national teachers' colleges. In 1926, it changed its name to national Wuchang Zhongshan University. In 1928, it was named national Wuhan University. It was one of the four famous universities in the Republic of China. In 1949, it became more famous. So far, it has a history of 125 years.

There are three ways to get from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to Wuhan University.
1、 Airport bus
From Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to Wuhan University, take the airport bus (30 yuan, about 50 minutes) to fujiapo long-distance bus station in Wuchang, and then take bus No. 413519608 (about 15-20 minutes) to directly arrive at Wuhan University. Take a taxi (about 10 minutes) to get to the University.
2、 Rail transit - bus
Bus line: Rail Transit Line 2 & rarr; 817, about 45.4km
1. About 2.1km walk from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to Tianhe Airport Station
2. Take Rail Transit Line 2, pass 23 stations, and arrive at jiedaokou station
3. Walk about 1.1km to Luoshi Road north section station
4. Take No. 817, pass 1 stop, and arrive at Bayi crossing station of Luoshi Road
5. About 720 meters walk to Wuhan University
3、 Taxi
It's about 40 kilometers from Tianhe International Airport to Wuhan University. It takes about 1 hour to take a taxi, about 100 yuan.
