Dujiangyan is located in the west of Dujiangyan City (formerly Guanxian county), Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is located on the Minjiang River in the west of Chengdu Plain, about 50km away from Chengdu City and 20km away from Qingchengshan scenic spot. Founded in the last year of King Zhaowang of Qin Dynasty (about 256-251 BC), it is a large-scale water conservancy project organized and built by Li Bing and his son, the governor of Shu County, on the basis of bieling's excavation. It is composed of water diversion fish mouth, Feisha weir, baopingkou and other parts. It has played a role in flood control and irrigation for more than 2000 years, making Chengdu plain a land of abundance where water and drought run from man to wild.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport passenger station
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport passenger station has opened the ground transportation line to Dujiangyan in 2013. The opening of the line fills the gap that there is no direct airport line to the west of Chengdu. It provides a quick way for passengers in this area to get to the airport directly, and also meets the travel needs of airport arriving passengers to Dujiangyan and Qingchengshan.
The Chengdu Dujiangyan line is currently in trial operation. There are six flights from the airport to Dujiangyan every day. The departure time is 11:20, 12:30, 13:30, 14:20, 15:20, 17:00 respectively. There are eight flights from Dujiangyan to the airport. The departure time is 9:45, 10:35, 11:25, 12:20, 13:30, 14:30, 15:40, 17:10. The whole fare is 24 yuan.
