Yichang has always been known as the "throat of Sichuan and Hubei, an important town in the west of Hubei" and the "gateway of the Three Gorges". It is the birthplace of Bachu culture. There are not only the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River with beautiful scenery, the charming Tujia style of the Qingjiang River, but also ancient celebrity cultural sites such as Quyuan temple, Zhaojun's hometown and Guanling. 1. Three Gorges Dam
Located in Yichang City, the Three Gorges dam is the largest water conservancy project in the world and the largest hydropower station in the world. At present, there are three scenic spots open to tourists: Tanziling, 185 platform (scenic spot) and closure Memorial Park. The first two are located on the North Bank of the Yangtze River, and closure Memorial Park is located on the South Bank of the Yangtze River. 6. Sanyou cave
Sanyou cave, located on the north peak of Xiling mountain in the northwest of Yichang, is close to the mouth of Xiling Gorge, facing xialaixi, with a steep terrain. The main scenic spots are Sanyou cave, Zhixi Pavilion, ChuSai tower, ancient military base site, zhangfei drum arena, Luyou spring, etc.
7. Chexi folk custom scenic spot
Chexi folk custom scenic spot is located in Tucheng Township, Yichang city. It is the South Gate of huangniuyan eco-tourism scenic spot in the Three Gorges. The theme is "hometown in dream". 8. Chaibuxi Grand Canyon
Chaibuxi Grand Canyon is located in Wufeng County, Yichang city. It is a typical Grand Canyon Scenic Spot with charming Stone Forest cliffs, clear streams and karst landforms. Chaotianhou rafting, located in Xingshan County, Yichang City, is an important node of the "one river, two mountains" golden tourism channel in the middle of Yichang to Shennongjia, with extremely convenient transportation.
Chaotianhou has a very unique 'twin floating channel': two floating channels, Kongzi River and Xiayang River, are available for tourists to choose from.
