Yuanmingyuan horse head returns, looking forward to the zodiac reunion

On the afternoon of the 13th, the donation ceremony of the bronze statue of horse head in Yuanmingyuan was held in the National Museum. The bronze statue of horse's head in Yuanmingyuan is one of the main components of the fountain of animal's head outside Haiyan Hall of western building complex in Changchun Garden of Yuanmingyuan in Qing Dynasty. In 1860, the Old Summer Palace was looted and burned by the British and French forces, and 12 bronze statues with animal heads were lost overseas. Among the 12 bronze statues, the horse head was auctioned overseas and was bought by Macao businessman Stanley Ho after several rounds. It is reported that Ma Shou will be included in the collection of Beijing Yuanmingyuan Management Office.
