According to the announcement, the conditions, methods and relevant policies for applying for the legal professional qualification examination in 2019 will remain stable on the whole, and the relaxation policy will continue to be implemented for the hard and remote areas and ethnic minority areas, allowing full-time fresh undergraduate graduates from ordinary colleges and universities and military academies in 2020 and fresh master graduates with the same academic level to apply for the examination. Candidates can choose to use Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, Kazakh, Korean five minority language test papers to participate in the examination.

The announcement also makes it clear that in 2019, the national unified legal professional qualification examination will adopt the computerized examination method, and the objective examination will adopt the closed book and computerized examination method; the subjective examination will mainly adopt the computerized examination, and if the examinees have difficulties in using the computer examination, they can apply for the paper and pen examination method when they confirm to register for the subjective examination. For those who take part in the examination by using the examination papers in minority languages, the paper and pen examination method shall be adopted for the subjective examination.

The announcement stressed that the examination questions and reference answers will not be published in the national unified legal professional qualification examination in 2019. After the results of the subjective examination are published, if the examinees have any objection to the examination results, they can submit a written application for score verification to the local judicial administrative organ.
