Recently, Gao Tongqing, deputy general manager of China Telecom, talked publicly about the charging of 5g charges by operators, which may be charged according to 10Gb / 10 yuan, or even lower; while China Unicom said that it would try its best to control within 1GB / 50 Mao, and China Mobile has not announced the charging information yet. However, the 5g traffic charge for ordinary users is currently under study, and the specific message can only be determined when it is really commercial.
According to the analysis of many people in the industry, the traffic fee of 5g network after commercial use is very low, and it is not uncommon that a few cents per GB, because the corresponding base station can carry more equipment and traffic. After the operators put in the base station construction at one time, 5g no longer needs large-scale infrastructure construction, so the cost will be lower than 4G, and the fee is certainly cheaper than 4G network. On the other hand, in order to achieve the unified planning given by the Ministry of industry and information technology, the three operators will keep the 5g traffic tariff at a lower price.

When can 5g network be popularized?
It is reported that the Ministry of industry and information technology will issue 5g system frequency license within this year, and 5g frequency of Internet of things and Internet of vehicles are also under planning. This also means that the three major operators may be able to get 5g licenses by the end of this year.
