First, you need to select the folder you want to encrypt, then right-click and select Add to compressed file. A dialog box of compressed file name and parameters will appear. Then select the advanced option, check before saving the file security data, click set password, enter your own password, and click OK. Remember to delete the original folder after compressing it.
Finally, I will introduce a kind of encryption method that is not too secure, that is, hidden folder method. First, select the folder you want to encrypt, right-click and select properties, and a dialog box will appear. Check the hidden property in the general window, and click OK. This method just hides the folder. It can reappear after setting in the folder window, so this method is not very safe. If it is an important document, it is not recommended.
