On September 5, the State Administration of immigration announced that the current pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao will be invalid on September 13, 2019. According to the minimum period of validity of the endorsement to and from Hong Kong and Macao, it is not convenient to apply for a new endorsement if you hold this type of pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao in the near future. Holders with travel needs should apply for the card type E-PASS to Hong Kong and Macao in advance. The card type E-PASS that has been signed can still be used within the validity period.
Procedures of Hong Kong and Macao pass
1) New office
For the first time, the immigration and Entry Administration Office, which is required to be registered with the registered residence, will submit an application for the first time.
The ID card and its copy (A4 paper copy, can be copied on the same paper) and fill in the application form of Chinese citizens' exit and entry certificate, 2 pieces of 2-inch light background color photos (can also be taken on site, the fee is paid), and apply for the endorsement to Hong Kong and Macao respectively.
If you only go to Hong Kong, apply for Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macao, apply for Macao endorsement; if you go to both Hong Kong and Macao, apply for both.
[processing time limit] 10 working days from the date of acceptance (first or non first application). But they do not include mail days (generally about five days) and holidays.
[fee] each copy of the "pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" is 80 yuan; each one is 15 yuan for one-time endorsement, and each one is 30 yuan for two-time endorsement.
(2) Renewal
I can handle it with my ID card and valid "pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao", or I can handle it on my behalf. The agent needs to bring his ID card. There may be special provisions for city city visa. The registered residence of the registration office is specifically consulted. A few cities can be renewed by mail, such as Lianyungang, Jiangsu).
[processing time limit] 7 working days from the date of acceptance.
[fee] 20 yuan for each current endorsement and 30 yuan for each second current endorsement.
[special attention] if the valid period of the "pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" is less than 6 months (3 months in some cities) or there is not enough blank endorsement page, the new "pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" shall be handled according to the first application procedure, and the endorsement shall be applied at the same time.
(3) Agency
If you apply for the Hong Kong and Macao pass for the first time, you need to bring your ID card and photo; if you do not apply for the first time, you need to bring your ID card and the previous pass. If you ask someone to do it, you also need to bring your agent's ID card.
(4) Expired
If the "Hong Kong and Macao pass" has expired, you need to go to the exit Entry Administration Department of the Public Security Bureau at or above the county (District) level of your registered permanent residence in person to handle the replacement procedures. The information and relevant procedures you need to carry are the same as the first time.
You need to bring the following information:
1. Original and copy of ID card
2. The copy should be A4 (the front and back sides of ID card should be copied, the home page of household register should be copied, and the personal page should be copied)
3. 2-inch full face bareheaded plane color close-up photo, blue background, dark collar top, photo size 48x33mm, head width 21-24mm, head length 28-33mm (you must take photos in the photo studio designated by the Public Security Bureau, you can also take photos at the exit and entry, remember to take the photo receipt, it is recommended to take photos at the exit and entry)
4. The old Hong Kong and Macao passes need to be returned to the immigration administration.
