Recently, however, Zhai Tianlin left a message in the live broadcast. A netizen asked Zhai Tianlin if his doctoral dissertation could be found on HowNet. Zhai Tianlin naturally replied, "what is HowNet? What is HowNet?" and then answered the next netizen's question.
The live broadcast caused a heated discussion among netizens, because HowNet is a very popular literature reference platform, while Zhai Tianlin, who just got into Peking University to study as a postdoctoral student, said he didn't know.
