for Taiwan pass, the following materials shall be provided to the exit and Entry Administration Department of the local public security bureau:

1. Submit the completed application form for mainland residents to and from Taiwan.

3. Hand in the ID card. Submit the original of the applicant's valid ID card (except those under the age of 16) and household register, and submit the copy.

Chinese citizens residing abroad who apply to go to Taiwan after coming to the mainland shall be accepted by the exit Entry Administration of the public security organ in the place of temporary residence. The valid passport of the people's Republic of China or travel permit of the people's Republic of China and the certificate of residence abroad must be submitted for examination, and a copy must be submitted.

In case of agency, the original ID card of the agent shall be submitted for inspection and a copy shall be submitted.

6. Unit comments:

7. Submit the supporting materials corresponding to the application cause.

(1) For those who are invited to Taiwan, the original of the "approval document for going to Taiwan" issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, or the photocopy confirmed and sealed by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the government of a province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the central government shall be submitted.

In case of application in the place where the non resident account is located, the work certificate shall be submitted, the original copy of the temporary residence certificate shall be submitted for inspection, and the copy shall be submitted.

If it is handled by the organizing unit, the agent shall submit the unit introduction letter.

(2) For those who have been approved by the Economic Bureau of the Taiwan Office of the State Council to go to Taiwan for economic and trade exchange activities, the original copy of the "reply on the invitation to travel to Taiwan" issued by the Economic Bureau of the Taiwan Office of the State Council shall be submitted.

8. To apply for reissue or renewal of certificates, the following relevant certificates shall be submitted:

(1) If a replacement certificate is issued, a certificate issued by the local public security organ shall be submitted.

(2) For renewal of certificates, the original "pass for mainland residents to and from Taiwan" shall be submitted.

(3) If the certificate is damaged, a certificate damage instruction shall be submitted.

No approval shall be granted to a mainland resident applying to go to Taiwan under any of the following circumstances:

(1) The defendant or criminal suspect in a criminal case;

(2) The people's court has notified that it is advisable not to leave the country if there are unsettled lawsuits;

(3) The sentence has not been completed;

(4) Being educated through labor;

(5) The relevant competent department of the State Council considers that the exit of the country will cause harm to national security or great loss to national interests;

(6) Deceiving behaviors such as fabricating information or providing false certificates.
