The people's Bank of China has decided to issue one set of 2019 New Year's commemorative coins since December 12, 2018. There are two commemorative coins in the set, including one silver commemorative coin and one Bi color copper alloy commemorative coin, all of which are legal currencies of the people's Republic of China.
1. The ICBC, the Agricultural Bank of China, the Bank of China and the China Construction Bank shall respectively undertake the pre issuance of 2019 new year double color copper alloy Commemorative Coins (hereinafter referred to as "new year coins") in some provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is responsible for Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Guangdong (including Shenzhen), Sichuan and other regions; Agricultural Bank of China is responsible for Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Hainan, Guizhou, Tibet, Qinghai, Xinjiang and other regions; Bank of China is responsible for Tianjin, Shanxi, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Shaanxi and other regions; China Construction Bank is responsible for Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Henan, Yunnan, Gansu, Ningxia and other regions.
2、 Before December 19, 2018, the branches of the people's Bank of China will announce to the public the distribution amount of local new year's coins.
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank will publish the new year's currency reserved exchange outlets and the number of reserved outlets in each outlet on the official website.
3、 Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China and China Construction Bank handled the new year's currency reservation business from December 21 to December 24, 2018. The public can make reservation registration through the official websites of the four banking financial institutions or their business outlets.
4、 New year's coins are reserved for 20 per person.
5、 The valid ID card for reservation and exchange of new year's currency must be the original of the second generation of resident ID card.
6、 From January 25, 2019 to January 31, 2019, the new year's currency will be exchanged by appointment. The public can go to the appointed business outlets to transact the reservation exchange business at the appointed time with the valid identity certificate registered in the reservation system.
If the public receives the new year's coins on behalf of others, it shall handle it with the original valid identity certificate registered in the appointment system by the recipient, and the number of recipients shall not exceed 5.
7、 The new year's coins that have been reserved but not exchanged will be exchanged with the public on site. Before February 21, 2019, the branches of the people's Bank of China announced the business outlets, distribution quantity and exchange requirements of the local banking financial institutions that are responsible for on-site exchange. The on-site exchange period is from February 22 to February 28, 2019, during which the public can handle the exchange business at the business outlets that undertake the on-site exchange work.
8、 During the period of appointment and exchange appointment, the people's Bank of China and the banking financial institutions that undertake the work of issuance appointment shall publish the progress of online appointment, on-site appointment and exchange appointment in all regions of the country on the official website every working day. Shanghai headquarters of the people's Bank of China, all branches, business management departments, central sub branches of provincial capital cities and central sub branches of Shenzhen shall publish online appointment, on-site appointment and appointment exchange progress of all cities under their jurisdiction on the official website every working day, and the on-site exchange work of all cities under their jurisdiction on March 1, 2019; During the issuance of new year's coins, the supervision and reporting telephone numbers of all provinces (districts and cities) in China will be announced. Public inquiry and supervision are welcome.
