At 0:41 a.m. on January 28, December 4, a deflagration occurred near Shenghua Chemical Co., Ltd., dacanggai Town, Qiaodong District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, resulting in 23 deaths and 22 injuries. The Zhangjiakou municipal government announced the list of victims today through the official account of WeChat.
The 23 victims were Qi Yingfu, Jia Kai, Chen Haiyun, Zhang Wanshan, Ren laisuo, Zhang Wanjie, Guo Zhicheng, Wang Jin, Han Jingguo, Wei Degang, Xu Yunsheng, Lin Yufeng, Guo Liang, Zhang Bin, Yang Bo, Niu Tianhui, Ren Jianxiang, Qi Xiaoyun, Qi Xiaowen, Guo Zhenhua, Wang Lili, Ren zhanmei, Hou Yiran.
On November 30, Zhangjiakou Municipal Government of Hebei Province held a "11 & middot; 28" deflagration press conference to report the preliminary investigation results of the cause of the accident. It has been preliminarily found that the explosion accident was caused by the leakage of vinyl chloride gas tank of Hebei Shenghua Chemical Co., Ltd. of China Chemical Group, the leakage of vinyl chloride diffused to the road outside the plant area, and the explosion occurred in case of open fire.
