The people's Bank of China has decided to issue a set of commemorative coins to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up since November 16, 2018. There are 7 commemorative coins in the set, including 1 Gold Commemorative Coin, 5 silver commemorative coins and 1 Bi color copper alloy commemorative coin, all of which are legal currencies of the people's Republic of China. Have you ever seen what a hundred yuan coin looks like?

1、 Gold and silver commemorative coins

(1) Commemorative Coins (see Annex 1).

1. Front pattern.

Both gold and silver commemorative coins have the national emblem of the people's Republic of China on the obverse, with the country name and year number printed.

2. Back pattern.

The 8g round gold commemorative coin has a combination of figure '40' design and Peony Design on the back and the inscription and denomination of 'celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up'.

One belt, one road, 150 banks of land, ocean, bridge, olive branch and other decorative designs are also printed on the back of the circular silver commemorative coin. The magazine also celebrates the 40th anniversary words and denominations of reform and opening up.

One of the 30 gram round silver commemorative coins has a reverse pattern of the seedlings and ears of rice symbolizing the beginning of rural reform (Xiaogang Village, Anhui Province), with the inscription "Celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up" and its denomination.

The second of the 30g round silver commemorative coins is a combination design of Shenzhen urban architecture, Shekou port, the sculpture of the frontier ox and the streamer. The words "Celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up" and the denomination are published.

The third of the 30g round silver commemorative coins is a composite design of Shanghai Pudong landmark, Nanpu Bridge, Huangpu River, etc., and is printed with the words "Celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up" and its denomination.

The fourth reverse design of 30g round silver commemorative coin is a combination of contour lines, lotus and technology symbols in some areas of xiong'an new area, with the inscription and denomination of "Celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up".

(2) Specifications and circulation of commemorative coins.

8g round gold commemorative coins are refined coins, including 8g pure gold, 22mm in diameter, 100 yuan in denomination, 99.9% in color, with a maximum circulation of 20000 pieces.

150g round silver commemorative coins are refined coins, including 150g pure silver, with a diameter of 70mm, a denomination of 50 yuan, a color of 99.9%, and a maximum circulation of 4000 pieces.

30g round silver commemorative coins are refined coins, including 30g pure silver, 40mm in diameter, 10 yuan in denomination, 99.9% in color, with a maximum circulation of 4 & times; 40000 pieces.

2、 Two color copper alloy commemorative coin

(1) Commemorative Coins (see Annex 1).

1. Front pattern.

The two-color copper alloy commemorative coin has the national emblem on the front, the name of the people's Republic of China on the top, the year number 2018 on the bottom, and the fruit pattern on the left and right sides.

2. Back pattern.

The two-color copper alloy commemorative coin has Arabic numeral '40' on the back and peony, streamer and fireworks on the background. At the top of the main picture are the words "Celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up" and at the bottom right are the words "10 yuan".

(2) Denomination, specification, material and number of issues.

The two-color copper alloy commemorative coins, with a nominal value of 10 yuan and a diameter of 27 mm, are made of bimetallic copper alloy and have a circulation of 180 million pieces. (3) Distribution method.

Two color copper alloy commemorative coins are issued in two batches by appointment. The first batch will be issued from December 28, 2018. (5) The two-color copper alloy commemorative coins have the same function as the current circulation RMB, and circulate at the same value as the RMB of the same denomination.
