What's wrong with Jiaolong's loss of connection in the sea trial? Jiaolong lost contact with its mot

"In accordance with the operating procedures, if the communication is interrupted for 15 minutes, the vehicle should be unloaded and floated, and the submersible must return. In that dive, Jiaolong lost contact with its mother ship in the 7000 meter sea trial for nearly one hour! 'what's going on?

Jiaolong sea trial lost contact:

Pan Jie, a reporter from Jiaolong's Xinhua news agency, photographed the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the world's oceans, which is high-pressure, dark and cold. Before entering the sea, divers had just carried out a comprehensive inspection of Jiaolong to ensure the normal power and communication. Then Jiaolong was untied, separated from her mother ship, and slowly disappeared from the sea. But something unexpected happened.

After the loss of contact, the sea trial headquarters immediately made a judgment after analysis: there must be no problem in the submersible, because all the data show that the equipment of the submersible operates normally.

Finally, the cause was found out. It was careless operation. The diver pressed a button to open another communication mode. After finding the problem, the headquarters immediately reestablished communication and successfully completed the remaining work.

On June 24, 2012, Jiaolong broke the 7000 meter diving depth for the first time in the Mariana Trench test sea area, and then set a Chinese manned deep diving record of 7062 meters, as well as the world's largest diving depth record of similar operating submersibles. This means that China has the ability to carry people to more than 99.8% of the global ocean depths for operation.

"Three dragons" gather to explore the deep sea. The underground dragon one, the sea dragon two, the Jiaolong will work together:

On February 7, 2017, yesterday, the "hailong-2" unmanned cable submersible and the "qianlong-1" unmanned cable submersible officially entered the management center of China's national deep sea base in Qingdao, together with the "Jiaolong" manned submersible and the "three dragons" of China's deep sea, which have already settled here, will work together in the future voyage, complement each other and jointly explore the deep sea mystery.
