How to raise a hamster
1. Feeding environment
The most suitable temperature is 20-28 ℃, avoid direct sunlight or direct wind, but pay attention to ventilation. Don't get too close to the TV, stereo and computer. Hamsters can hear the voice that people can't hear. Avoid radiation and noise.
Summer: it's better not to turn on the air conditioner, because the air conditioner on and off will make the temperature difference too large. Hamsters are very sensitive to the temperature and easy to catch cold.
Winter: hamsters placed outdoors will hibernate because they are too cold. Lay more wood chips and other bedding materials, and configure wooden or grass huts for hamsters to keep warm. Or give more cotton to hamsters to make their own nest, skim cotton can be, the best use of natural cotton. The simplest way is to put the cage into the carton, but pay attention to ventilation. Don't nest their goods made of cotton thread. cage

Food bowl
General small containers can be used, as long as it is not easy to overturn, and the edge is not too high, or hamsters can not climb in. Commonly used containers: glass ashtray, soy sauce dishes, all kinds of small bowls, microwave boxes, small fresh-keeping boxes.
Water dispenser
The general design of the front end of the water dispenser has stainless steel beads, pay attention to test whether there is water leakage when purchasing. Can't use bowl to hold water directly, because hamster will get wet when drinking water, easy to get cold disease.
Toilet
General plastic box with cat litter is a relatively simple toilet. Take out or replace all the caked litter every day, which is in accordance with personal hygiene habits. Some hamsters will use it, not necessary.
Shower Room
Some hamsters will bathe with cat litter in the toilet. Although it's not sanitary, it's hamster's preference. There's no need for a bath room. But for a clean hamster, the owner should buy a bathroom for it and put the bath sand on to let the hamster roll freely.
Running wheel
Wild hamsters run 20 kilometers a day, so exercise is very important to hamsters. Without enough exercise, hamsters will be under too much pressure and bite cages. Molars
Hamster's teeth will continue to grow, so you need to use a molar bar to grind off the long teeth. Many hamsters grind their teeth in other ways, such as biting cages. Don't worry too much when you don't use the grindstone / stick you provide.
Hut
There are ceramic huts, wooden huts, grass huts, plastic huts and hamsters like them very much, because hamsters love to live in burrows. If possible, they should be equipped with a hut, which can be made by themselves.
Taboo of hamster
(1) It's forbidden to feed people's food. If the salt is too high and the seasoning is too heavy, it will increase the burden on the mice. Especially snacks. But coarse grains without processing can be fed. Corn and job's tears can be fed.
(2) No direct contact with the sun. Rats are very afraid of heat. When summer comes, please use heat sink or marble to cool them.
(3) Do not wash hamsters if not necessary. It will make hamsters catch cold. If it is serious, it may die.
(4) Please understand your own hamster breed. Except for the mother-in-law hamsters, it is forbidden to raise them in cages. If the mother-in-law hamsters are not harmonious, they must also be raised in separate cages.
(5) If you don't have psychological preparation or economic ability, please don't raise the female and male rats in cages. The reproduction ability of the rat and the child is very considerable.
