The software recognizes the bear child. The bear child can't steal the mobile phone anymore

What's the matter with software to identify bear children? For many parents, is it a headache for their children to play with mobile phones? Recently, new software developed by researchers from the University of South Carolina and Zhejiang University of China can help many parents solve a special parenting dilemma: Children's addiction to stealing and playing mobile phones.

Researchers have developed an algorithm that measures user interaction with mobile devices and reliably identifies whether a user is an adult or a child. If the software detects a child, it can automatically block apps such as retailers or email platforms and inappropriate websites.

To build the algorithm, the team developed an application that tracks the movement of a user's fingers -- Recording measurements such as the pressure exerted by the fingers and the length of the slide. The researchers collected data from a group of children aged 3 to 11 and adults aged 22 to 60 because they unlocked the screen and played number based games on their phones.

Their new age detection software is 84% accurate when users only use one slide to determine whether they are adults or children. It only needs 8 swipes to achieve 97% accuracy.

The algorithm has not yet been integrated into the operating system, but researchers will show their technology on hotmobile, a mobile technology conference that can get some attention from developers.

Although network security has always been a concern in the era of mobile devices, many people make the mistake of only considering external threats. The reality is that a curious three-year-old can be as disruptive as the latest data.

The researchers believe that the technology in the diversity of children's users, the number of gestures, accuracy and other aspects need to be further improved.
