In July 2017, the work of off-site acceptance, loss reporting and loss recruitment will be fully implemented throughout the country.

How much does it cost to apply for an ID card in another place? According to the above opinions issued by the Ministry of public security, citizens apply for a replacement or replacement of a resident ID card in another place and pay the cost of the certificate to the local public security organ. The charging standard for the cost of production of the ID card shall be in strict accordance with the provisions of the notice of the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance on the charging standard of the ID card and related issues (fgjg [2003] No. 2322), and the public security organ shall not charge additional fees.

According to the notice of the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance on the charging standards and related issues of the resident identity card, the public security organ charges 20 yuan per card for the residents who apply for and replace the second generation resident identity card, and 40 yuan per card for the residents who lose or damage the second generation resident identity card. The charging standard for the public security organ to handle the temporary second generation ID card for residents is 10 yuan per card.

What is the time limit for issuing the certificate? Issue the resident ID card within 60 days

According to the above opinions issued by the Ministry of public security, the public security organ shall issue the resident identity card within 60 days from the date when the citizen submits the registration form for accepting the resident identity card in another place; in the areas with inconvenient traffic, the handling time may be extended appropriately, but the extension time shall not exceed 30 days; where conditions permit, the period for making and Issuing the certificate may be shortened according to the actual situation.

Note: two situations cannot be handled in different places

The above opinions issued by the Ministry of public security make it clear that the following two situations are not allowed to handle the application in other places: first, it is difficult to confirm the identity due to the great changes in the appearance characteristics and the unregistered fingerprint information of the resident identity card;

Second, there are bad credit records, including those who forge, alter, buy, sell, claim, swindle, use the household register, ID card, passport, driver's license and those who buy, sell and use the fake one, as well as those who are pushed by the national credit information sharing and exchange platform. For the above situations, it is still necessary to return to the place of residence for application.
