On May 29, Beijing time, according to the comparison of Gartner's latest research, smartphone sales in the United States and China decreased by 15.8% and 3.2% respectively. In the quarter of March this year, the share of Apple's iPhone in the global smartphone market fell to 11.9%, compared with 14.1% in the first quarter of 2018, and the sales volume fell from 54.1 million to about 44.6 million.

Meanwhile, Samsung's share fell from 20.5% to 19.2%, but still ranked first; Huawei's smartphone market share rose from 10.5% to 15.7%, surpassing apple, ranking second, with a sales volume of 58.4 million units. The share of oppo and vivo increased from 7.3% and 6.1% to 7.9% and 7.3% respectively.

Gartner said that by 2023, folding screen phones are expected to account for 5% of the high-end smartphone market, about 30 million.
