The name of Longhua temple comes from the allusion that Maitreya became a Buddha under the Longhua tree. However, according to the literature, the Longhua temple was built in the second year of the Taiping reign of the Northern Song Dynasty, and in the third year of the Zhiping reign of the Northern Song Dynasty, the name of the Longhua temple was changed to 'kongxiang Temple'. Now there are still some steles and stones left in the temple. During the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty, the original name of Longhua temple was restored. In the second year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, it was given the name of the "Wanshou Cihua Temple of Daxing state", and the name of the temple is still Longhua temple.
