Do you know what is the biggest insect in the world? A giant Chinese bamboo insect in the Huaxi insect museum in Chengdu is the holder of the Guinness Book of World Records' largest insect '. Its first egg successfully hatched its larva in the near future.
These eggs are dark brown in color; they are oval in shape, 5 mm long and 4 mm wide, which are quite large eggs among insects; when the appearance of the eggs is dry, there are delicate cloud patterns on the surface, with a small handle at one end, which looks like a small fruit. The newly hatched larvae, with a total length of more than 6cm and a body length of about 3cm, are about the same size as the adult individuals of many small-scale bamboo worms.

Most of them are distributed in the tropics and subtropics. Inhabiting in high mountains, dense forests and complex habitats, it has typical mimicry and protective color, similar to its habitat, and is not easy to be found by enemies. Among them, the bamboo insect is very similar to the twigs of trees, while the spider mite is very similar to the leaves of trees. They usually live on grass or trees and feed on leaves. There are more than 2200 species of bamboos in the world and more than 20 species in China. They live in forests or bamboo forests. They are forest pests. Some species also harm crops, mainly distributed in Hubei, Yunnan, Guizhou and other provinces.
There is no poison in the bamboo insect. If it is bitten, you can squeeze it to shed a few drops of blood, then wet it with tincture of iodine for three minutes to deiodinate with alcohol, and bandage it with sterile gauze. But if there is numbness, black fingers, red line must go to the hospital in time.
