How to install fingerprint lock?
Step 1: draw lines and trace holes
According to the dimensions shown in the installation drawing, mark the outline line of the hole position and the center line of the round hole on the door, drill out each installation hole according to the marked size, and then start to install the door lock.
Step 2: determine the lock cylinder hole position
Tear the side edge of the template into the one shown in the figure, and then paste it on the side of the door. Align the center line of the hand and the center line of the thickness of the door on the template with the two center lines drawn on the door, and draw out the outline with a pencil.
Step 3: determine the indoor face position
Paste the removed side template into the door chamber, align the handle center line and the interior template edge line drawn in the previous step, and then trace all holes. (during the drawing process, the template must always stick to the center line of the handle and the edge line of the template drawn in the previous step)
Step 4: install the lock cylinder
Check whether the hole position of the lock body is consistent with the installation hole position, press in the lock core after passing the standard (if there is a ground rod in the anti-theft door, hang the ground rod; when installing the lock cylinder of the wooden door, remove or saw off the hook of the ground rod), and then fasten it with screws.
Step 5: install the front locking surface
Screw the adapter and handle, thread the wire, and align the position of each mounting hole, put in the spring and square shaft, and install the front lock body on the door.
Step 6: install the rear locking face
Install the small anti lock square bar, connect the wires of the front and rear lock bodies according to the correct interface, install the spring and square shaft, and finally fix them with screws.
Step 7: install the gusset plate
Position of gusset plate. Stretch out all the installed locking tongues, set the position close to the door frame with a marker pen, and then open holes and fix the edge strips after measuring the size.
Step 8: function test
After installation, debug the product according to the operation steps in the manual. After all the functions can be realized, go to the next step.
Precautions for door lock installation
1. In order to facilitate the door opening, before installing the door lock, the distance between the lock and the ground should be measured according to the family's habit of opening the door.
2. Because the opening mode of the lock is different, the opening hole position on the installation mold is also different. Therefore, before marking, it is necessary to determine which hole positions on the installation mold are required to be opened according to the opening mode of the lock.
3. Generally, the lock cylinder is required to be installed in the middle of the door thickness.
4. When opening a hole on the door frame, it is necessary to measure the distance between the hole to be opened and the door frame edge according to the thickness of the door (measure accurately, otherwise the lock tongue will not pop out due to the wrong position, and the door cannot be locked, or the gap between the door seams is too large, which will cause the door to swing back and forth slightly, which will lead to the feeling that the door cannot be closed tightly).
5. Wire connection: the wire must be connected correctly, and then the connecting wire should be placed to prevent the wire from being crushed or jammed by the ground pole, otherwise the door lock will not work normally.
