China's obese children are the most obese, and their intelligence is low. How dare they eat again

Obesity can induce various diseases. According to the American Medical Journal, more than 2 billion people are overweight or obese in the world, with the largest number of obese children in China. So why are so many obese children in China? What harm does obesity do to human body?

According to foreign media, a study involving the University of Valencia in Spain on the impact of overweight and obesity on children and adults shows that more than 2 billion people around the world are suffering from obesity related health problems, accounting for 30% of the global population.

The study points out that in 2015, about 4 million people died of overweight or obesity, nearly 40% of which occurred in the overweight population.

Research shows that since 1980, the obesity rate of more than 70 countries has doubled. The most worrying finding is that the obesity rate of adolescents in developing countries such as China, Brazil and Indonesia has tripled, which means the incidence of a series of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease in adolescents has increased.

The report sees overweight and obesity as' an increasingly serious and disturbing global public health crisis'. In 2015, there were 2.2 billion people suffering from overweight or obesity in the world, of which 108 million children and more than 600 million adults were obese, that is, 5% of children and 12% of adults were obese. Although the obesity rate of children is lower than that of adults, the growth rate of obesity rate of children in many countries is higher than that of adults.

According to the report, among the 20 countries with the largest population in the world, the highest obesity rate of teenagers is the United States, nearly 13%, the lowest is Bangladesh, about 1.2%; the highest obesity rate of adults is Egypt, about 35%, the lowest is Vietnam, about 1.6%; the largest number of obese children are China and India, respectively, reaching 15.3 million and 14.4 million; the largest number of obese adults are the United States and China , 79.4 million and 57.3 million respectively.

Research shows that the treatment of obese children is low

At present, the reason for the low intelligence of obese children is not clear in the scientific community. It is inferred that it may be due to the dyspnea caused by obesity, the increase of blood viscosity, the decrease of oxygen carrying capacity of red blood cells, and the hypoxia of brain cells in varying degrees, which may cause the sleepiness, memory loss, and slow response to external stimulation of obese children, thus affecting the intellectual development.
