1. Standard capacity of mailbox
The marked volume of oil tank is not the actual maximum volume, but the maximum reasonable volume. Ordinary oil tank can be filled with 10% - 15% more oil than the marked volume. The automobile manufacturer indicates that the capacity of the fuel tank is 60 l, considering the expansion coefficient of the oil products, it is reasonable to store no more than 60 l of oil, so as to provide enough space for the fuel expansion caused by the temperature rise, and ensure the safety of the fuel tank in the use process.
2. Safe fuel tank
The accuracy of the filling quantity cannot be judged according to the rated capacity of the oil tank. The automobile fuel tank is a kind of container, not a measuring instrument, which can not be used as the basis to judge whether the measurement is accurate or not. According to the requirements of relevant national mandatory standards, the rated capacity of the automobile fuel tank should be controlled at 95% of the maximum safe capacity of the fuel tank.
3. When the yellow light is on, oil filling is correct: when the remaining 1 / 4 of the oil volume is filled
Every car still has a certain amount of fuel when the yellow light is on. Generally, it's time to refuel, but it's better to refuel before the yellow light is on. Many instructions remind that the pointer should be refueled at a quarter of the oil meter, which is for the sake of protecting the oil pump. Today's gasoline vehicles all use electric gasoline pump and oil quantity electronic sensor, which need to be soaked in gasoline to cool down. If there is too little gasoline, the oil pump can't be soaked in oil, and the heat dissipation will be greatly affected. If the heat dissipation is not timely, the service life of the oil pump will be affected, even leading to burning; If the car's fuel tank has not been cleaned for a long time, due to the large amount of impurities at the bottom of the car's fuel tank, a small amount of oil will easily cause the oil path to be blocked; at the same time, when the fuel is not large, it will increase the working load of the oil pump and affect the cooling of the rotor in the oil pump. It may also affect the oxygen sensor of the exhaust system.
Therefore, it is suggested that the owner should check the remaining quantity indicated by the oil meter frequently during the use. Don't always wait for the oil gauge light to come on to refuel, because the maintenance cost of oil pump and oxygen sensor is not low. At the same time, if you don't come to the station in time to refuel, it will cause the car to break down and bring great inconvenience to the owner's travel.
