The monthly minimum wage standard in class I areas was adjusted from 1570 yuan to 1670 yuan. This is a comprehensive consideration of the economic and social development of the country and our province since 2015, the situation of surrounding areas and the capacity of enterprises, and the adjustment of the minimum wage standard approved by the provincial government.
According to the level of economic and social development of the county-level administrative regions, the areas to which the minimum wage standard is applicable are divided into three categories. The first area includes Wuhua District, Panlong District, Xishan District, Guandu District, Chenggong District, Anning City and Songming County. Class II areas include other counties and districts under the jurisdiction of Kunming; counties (cities and districts) where other prefectures and municipal governments are located; other cities with cities and Yulong and Deqin counties.
