It home learned that China Telecom had previously released a 5g SA security enhanced SIM card white paper, which put forward the basic functional requirements, architecture requirements and technical requirements, and described in detail the new 5g mobility management, user identity privacy protection, security authentication enhancement, GBA authentication, 5g access control, 5g usat events and other functions and corresponding application scenarios.
The white paper also points out that at this stage, users access 5g network through 4G card. The existing 4G card lacks new functions and new card files and services defined in 5g standard. User identity data is transmitted in plaintext in the communication process, and the location information is not accurate enough to meet the information and security requirements of 5g network.
