From April 9, 2018 to April 7, 2019, Beijing will continue to implement the traffic control measures in the peak hours of working days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays that are adjusted to work due to the statutory holidays), and a new round of rotation will start from April 9.

Specific traffic restriction measures:

The official vehicles of the central state organs, the party and government organs at all levels of the city, the central government and the social organizations, institutions and state-owned enterprises affiliated to the city shall be stopped for one day (0-24 o'clock) per week according to the tail number of the license plate, and the scope is the roads within the administrative region of the city.

In addition to the motor vehicles within the above scope, other motor vehicles in Beijing are subject to traffic restriction management measures in the peak hours of the working day according to the license plate tail number. The traffic restriction time is from 7:00 to 20:00, and the range is within the Fifth Ring Road (excluding the Fifth Ring Road).

The following motor vehicles are not subject to the above measures:

(1) Police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles;

(2) Public electric vehicles, inter provincial long-distance passenger vehicles and large buses, taxi (excluding rental vehicles) with No. B section of Beijing, minibuses, special post vehicles, vehicles with operation certificates of tourist buses issued by the municipal traffic management department, unit buses and school buses approved by the municipal public security traffic management department;

(3) Administrative law enforcement vehicles and special operation vehicles for obstacle removal with uniform body paint and official duties;

(4) Special operation vehicles for sanitation, garden and road maintenance, funeral vehicles for funeral parlors;

(5) Vehicles with a 'make' prefix and vehicles approved for temporary entry;

(6) Pure electric passenger car (a passenger car driven by an electric motor with rechargeable battery as the only power source).
