According to the news on February 18, Mr. Tian Zhanyi, a famous storytelling artist of China Railway Art Troupe, died at Beijing 301 Hospital at 10:50 on February 18, 2020 at the age of 76 because of ineffective treatment for acute myocardial infarction.
Tian Zhanyi, born in 1943, is a storyteller of China Railway Art Troupe. In his early years, he studied crosstalk from Wang Shichen, a famous crosstalk master, and later worshipped yuan Kuocheng as his teacher to comment on his theory. In 1968, he learned from Li Xinquan the short storytelling "green pines at the bottom of the sea", "Liu Zongmin's horse crossing the Han River" and "three wonders monument", and edited the new storytelling "a gate" to participate in the performance and win awards. His masterpiece "secret train" was recorded and videotaped on the Central People's Radio and Beijing Television, and the manuscript was published by China quyi publishing house. Since 1983, in the radio and TV stations such as the central government, Beijing, Tianjin and Qingdao, Humen has published many of the long and storytelling stories, such as Humen's smoke, Lin Xiangqian, ancient city destructed opium, the Republic of China (1991), sunset Forbidden City (1993), ancient and modern comprehensive mirror, and Li Zicheng (two hundred).
