How long before tomb sweeping in Qingming
1. New tomb: it refers to the tomb that has not been buried for more than 3 years; the first time to visit the tomb is on a lucky day 10 days before the Qingming Festival; the second time to visit the tomb is on the day before the Qingming Festival; the third time to visit the tomb is on a lucky day 10 days after the Qingming Festival;
2. Old tomb: refers to the tomb that has been buried for more than 3 years; the time of old tomb sweeping is any day 10 days before and after the Qingming Festival, and it is not necessary to choose a auspicious day; when the date of tomb sweeping is selected, the specific time of tomb sweeping should be chosen at five o'clock of the day, that is, before the sun comes out. This is due to the traditional custom that ghosts and gods dare to come out to eat offerings before dawn. (Note: around 4:00 in the second half of the night at 5:00).
Is the earlier the tomb sweeping time, the better
