According to the relevant provisions of the road traffic safety law of the people's Republic of China, the following traffic management measures will be implemented in this section:

1、 'carpool lane' is a compound intensive lane of 'bus lane + multi occupant lane'. The signboard adopts the combination of bus lane and multi passenger lane, and the marking adopts yellow dotted line.

2、 From 7:00 to 10:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00 every day, the carpool lane is dedicated to public buses (electric vehicles) and buses carrying two or more passengers (including drivers). Other vehicles are not allowed to enter, but the following vehicles can use the carpool lane:

(2) Vehicles carrying out obstacle removal and rescue operations;

(3) Vehicles allowed to borrow the carpool lane according to the traffic signal.

On weekends and holidays for all citizens, other vehicles are allowed to enter the lane all day.

3、 Those who violate the regulations shall be fined 100 yuan in accordance with Article 90 of the road traffic safety law of the people's Republic of China.

You should know the official answers of the Municipal Transportation Commission

1. Why should we set up a carpool lane?

Answer: there are fewer bus lines on the Shanghai Yichang Highway than on the urban roads, and the utilization rate of bus lanes is relatively low. The setting of shared lanes can improve the use efficiency of bus lanes; On the other hand, it can promote multiple people to ride together, reduce the proportion of single person and single vehicle travel, and reduce vehicle emission pollution.

2. Which vehicles can use the carpool lane?

Answer: public buses (electric vehicles) and buses with two or more passengers (including drivers), including taxis, school buses or buses with passengers, etc. pay special attention to that trucks with two or more passengers (including drivers) are not allowed to pass during special periods.

3. How long does the carpool lane last?

A: 7:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 on weekdays; On Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays, this lane is not used as a dedicated carpool lane.

4. What punishment measures shall be taken for illegal occupation of carpool lanes?

A: according to Article 90 of the road traffic safety law of the people's Republic of China, if a motor vehicle driver violates the road traffic safety laws and regulations on road traffic, he shall be fined 100 yuan.

5. If the vehicles of units along the line turn right, do you need to change two lanes to avoid the special lane?

Answer: vehicles from units along the line can use the carpool lane, but they should leave the lane as soon as possible.

6. There is no special right turn lane at the intersection. The right turn lane is combined with the carpool lane. Can a single vehicle enter the carpool lane when it needs to turn right?

A: Yes, when the junction carpool lane is combined with the social right turn lane, ordinary social vehicles can turn right into the carpool lane and drive through the road, but they are not allowed to go straight.

7. When driving in the carpool lane, must a second person other than the driver sit in the co driver's seat?

A: at present, there is no mandatory requirement that the second passenger must sit in the co pilot's seat.

8. What regulatory measures will the public security organs take?

A: first of all, motor vehicle drivers should abide by the traffic rules according to law. In addition, at present, a number of electronic police have been set up along the road, which can capture the front, back and side of vehicles driving in the carpool lane to judge the number of people in the vehicle. At the same time, the public security organ will also strengthen road patrol and spot check law enforcement.

9. Will there be other roads with carpool lanes in the future?

A: at present, the carpool lane is only in the pilot of Huyi highway. In the future, we will judge whether to set up carpool lanes on other roads according to the pilot evaluation and the operation status of relevant roads.

Whether the carpool lane can alleviate traffic congestion remains to be answered by practical experience.
