On December 16, the program solicitation for the Magnolia Award of Shanghai TV Festival was fully launched, and the solicitation regulations for TV dramas, documentaries, cartoons and variety shows were exposed. Among them, in the collection of TV drama projects, it is mentioned that TV dramas broadcast on satellite channels in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) or premieres on key video websites from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 are within the scope of registration. This is also the first time that online dramas can participate in the selection of White Magnolia awards.
It is reported that the 26th Shanghai TV Festival will be held from June 8 to 12, 2020.
