The shooting in Los Angeles was the suspect's 16th birthday

Two students were killed and four injured in a shooting at SOGS high school in Santa Clarita, Southern California, on the morning of the 14th local time.

According to the Los Angeles County police, the Los Angeles Times and other local media, at about 7:30 that morning, the students of SOGS high school were preparing for the first class, when the gunfire suddenly sounded.

Three other victims, two girls aged 14 and 15 and a 14-year-old boy, are still being treated. The suspect in the shooting had a gunshot wound on his head, which was serious. It was his 16th birthday.

Police said the suspect pulled a point 48 semi-automatic pistol from his backpack and opened fire on his classmates, then turned the muzzle to himself. His mother and girlfriend have gone to the Los Angeles County Police Department for questioning.
