The "Chen Tongjia case" is also known as the "Taiwan homicide case" and the "Pan Xiaoying murder case". The case occurred in Taiwan. The deceased pan Xiaoying was Chen's girlfriend. They were both Hong Kong nationals. Chen was suspected of killing pan Xiaoying in Taiwan last February and returned to Hong Kong alone. He was arrested by the Hong Kong Police on March 13 last year.
