In the early morning of August 5, Comrade Luo Wei, the former famous director of CCTV, died of illness in the Beijing Aerospace Center Hospital at the age of 56.
Director Luo Wei once served as the editor and director of the 11th CCTV Spring Festival Gala, directed the live broadcast of CCTV new year's Day gala for seven consecutive times, and served as the general director.
It is reported that Luo Wei's memorial service will be held at the plum Hall of Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery at 8:00 on Friday, August 9, 2019.
