A Chinese student died in a plane crash at Denton flight training college in Texas, and a female coach died after ineffective rescue. The deceased student came from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and was assigned by China Southern Airlines to study.

According to local media reports in the United States, the accident occurred at about 4 p.m. local time on July 28 (5 a.m. Beijing time on July 29). The plane crashed on the grass of Gainesville airport.

FAA (Federal Aviation Administration of the United States) spokesman said that the aircraft involved in the accident was a twin engine pa-34 Seneca twin engine propeller aircraft, which was ready to land at the airport at that time.

The cause of the accident is still unclear. The investigators of the Federal Aviation Administration will go to the scene of the accident for investigation.

According to the aircraft registration information, the pa-34 Seneca twin engine propeller aircraft with the side number of n456ag, which was delivered in 1973 and has been 45 years old, is an old aircraft.

Students in the school said that the accident was related to the negligence of aviation school management. The aviation school had previously let students continue to fly when they knew there were problems with the aircraft.

After the tragedy, usag issued a statement through Facebook saying: we are sad and mourn our students and coaches together. The safety of trainees and coaches remains the cornerstone of our training program, and because of this, we are assisting the National Transportation Safety Commission, the Federal Aviation Administration and local authorities in investigating accidents. We will also conduct an internal investigation.

According to media reports, this is not the first time the school had an accident. On April 16 this year, Xiao Yang (a pseudonym), a student from Huai'an, Jiangsu, who received flight training at usag aviation school in the United States, committed suicide in the dormitory of the aviation school because he was suspected of being unfairly treated by the school. After the incident, many people familiar with the matter said on their microblog that the aviation school involved in the accident "has been unfair to Chinese students for a long time"
