Usually, the bride's and groom's parents' tables should be close to the main table and separated on both sides of the red carpet. Most wedding arrangements will arrange the parents of the bride and groom at the same table. Therefore, the seating arrangement of the two main tables should be that the parents, grandparents and elders of the bride and groom should be arranged at the main table on the left side of the stage, and the other main table should be arranged for distinguished guests such as the host, witness and important leaders. However, some areas require the groom and bride's parents to sit separately. At this time, it is suggested to arrange the 'mother-in-law table' of the groom's parents on the left side of the stage and the 'mother's table' of the bride's parents on the right side of the stage. The parents of the bride and groom should sit at the table facing the center of the stage.
Some bridegrooms and bridesmaids will also arrange the seats of the best man and bridesmaid at the main table to show their attention and gratitude, but I don't recommend this kind of seat arrangement when the wedding banquet and ceremony are in the same venue. Because during the wedding ceremony, the best man and bridesmaid are always around the bride and groom. It is suggested that the best man and bridesmaid be arranged on the staff table to facilitate access to the wedding venue at any time.
2. New colleagues, friends and business partners
Colleagues' and friends' seats are generally arranged behind the main table, VIP seat and relatives' seat, that is, the middle of the banquet hall. These new people should be greeted first after their elders. When arranging seats, they should try to arrange their familiar friends at the same table. If the guests at a table don't know each other, try to arrange a warm and hospitable friend to help entertain the guests at this table to avoid leaving the other party cold.
