Generally, women will enjoy this benefit as long as they are in-service women's units. The policy of maternity allowance is different in each region. How is the maternity allowance calculated? What are the policies?

The payment methods and standards of maternity allowance in China are divided into two situations: 1. In the areas where the social overall planning of maternity insurance is implemented, the payment standard shall be paid according to the standard of the average monthly salary of the employees of the enterprise in the previous year, and the period shall not be less than 98 days;

2. In areas where there is no social overall planning of maternity insurance, the maternity allowance shall be paid by the enterprise or unit. The standard is the basic salary and price subsidy of female employees before childbirth, and the period is generally 98 days. In some areas, the incentive policy of appropriately extending the payment period of maternity allowance is implemented for professional women who marry and have children late.

How about maternity allowance

During the pregnancy of female employees, the enterprise will get the state maternity allowance, which is subsidized by the state to the enterprise to pay the salary during maternity leave. As for the number, it is related to the wage base declared by the company at the social security department. How about maternity allowance?

1. Calculation formula of maternity allowance: average monthly wage paid by the employer / 30 * maternity leave days. (the payment base of employees shall be calculated according to the average monthly wage of the employer in the previous year);

2. If it is lower than 60% of the average monthly wage of employees in the city in the previous year, it shall be calculated according to 60% of the average monthly wage of employees in the city in the previous year;

3. If it is more than three times higher than the average monthly wage of employees in this Municipality in the previous year, it shall be calculated according to three times of the average monthly wage of employees in this Municipality in the previous year;

4. If the average monthly salary of the previous year cannot be determined, it shall be calculated according to the average monthly salary of the employees of the city in the previous year.

5. According to the provisions of this notice, female employees newly included in the scope of insurance can immediately apply for and enjoy the corresponding maternity allowance if they give birth within 9 months from the date of implementation of this notice; In case of childbirth after 9 months from the date of implementation of this notice, if the continuous payment is less than 9 months, the maternity allowance shall be paid by the employer.

6. If the Insured Employee has paid continuously for less than 9 months before delivery and 12 months after delivery, the maternity allowance of the employee shall be supplemented by the maternity insurance fund. The supplementary payment standard is the average monthly payment salary of employees of the employer divided by 30 days and multiplied by the number of days of maternity leave in the month of reporting and receiving the allowance.
