At present, some provinces have implemented this new policy. The Department of human resources and social security of Qinghai Province announced that from January 1, 2019, the basic pension standard of some insured groups will also be increased at the same time. The government will increase the basic pension of 5 yuan per person per month for insured persons aged 65 and above, reaching 180 yuan; For the insured who have paid for more than 15 years, an additional 10 yuan of basic pension will be paid every month for each additional year. For another example, Ningxia human resources and social security department proposed to appropriately increase the basic pension of urban and rural elderly residents aged 65 and above. For those over 65 but under 70, an increase of 2 yuan per person per month; For those over 70 but under 75, an increase of 4 yuan per person per month; For those over 75 but under 80, an increase of 6 yuan per person per month; For those aged 80 and above, an increase of 8 yuan per person per month. If the insured has paid for more than 15 years, the basic pension shall be increased by no less than 2 yuan per month for each additional year of payment.
