On the 24th, Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange issued the notice on the closing arrangements of Shanghai stock exchange for the whole year of 2019 and the notice on the closing arrangements of some holidays in 2019, informing the relevant arrangements for the closing of the Spring Festival in 2019 as follows:
The stock market is closed during the Spring Festival
The market will be closed from February 4 (Monday) to February 10 (Sunday) and open as usual from February 11 (Monday). In addition, February 2 (Saturday) and February 3 (Sunday) are closed for weekends.
In terms of Hong Kong stock connect, the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange will not provide Hong Kong stock connect services from January 31 (Thursday) to February 10 (Sunday), and will open Hong Kong stock connect services as usual from February 11 (Monday).
Generally speaking, the stock market holiday time of the Spring Festival in 2019 is the same as that of the national statutory holiday. However, due to the weekend before the Spring Festival, the stock market holiday time of the Spring Festival in 2019 is 9 days, which needs to be paid attention by the majority of investors.
Annual closing arrangements:
（1） New year's Day: the market will be closed from Sunday, December 30, 2018 to Tuesday, January 1, 2019, and will be open as usual from Wednesday, January 2. In addition, the market is closed on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
（2） Spring Festival: closed from February 4 (Monday) to February 10 (Sunday), and opened as usual from February 11 (Monday). In addition, February 2 (Saturday) and February 3 (Sunday) are closed for weekends.
（3） Qingming Festival: the market will be closed from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 7, and will be open as usual from Monday, April 8.
（4） Labor Day: the market is closed on May 1 (Wednesday) and opened as usual on May 2 (Thursday).
（5） Dragon Boat Festival: closed from June 7 (Friday) to June 9 (Sunday), and open as usual from June 10 (Monday).
（6） Mid Autumn Festival: closed from September 13 (Friday) to September 15 (Sunday), and open as usual from September 16 (Monday).
（7） National Day: closed from October 1 (Tuesday) to October 7 (Monday), and open as usual from October 8 (Tuesday). In addition, September 29 (Sunday) and October 12 (Saturday) are closed for weekends.
2、 The relevant liquidation matters shall be carried out in accordance with the arrangements of China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd.
3、 The Shanghai Stock Exchange will notify separately about the testing of the Spring Festival and national day.
