Ways to spread AIDS: how to avoid AIDS?

At present, there is no drug in the world which can cure aids completely. It is very frightening to mention AIDS. As long as we recognize the transmission route of AIDS and avoid catching viruses, it is the most important thing. AIDS is mainly infected by the following 3 routes of transmission. You must remember clearly.

AIDS is infected through sexual intercourse, blood, mother and infant in three ways.

There are three recognized routes of HIV transmission

1. Transmission through sexual contact

2. Blood transmission

3. Mother to child transmission

a. Sexual transmission: through unprotected heterosexual or homosexual sex.

B. blood transmission: through sharing unsterilized syringes and needles, injecting drugs, typing blood or blood products containing HIV, using various sterile medical devices (such as needles, acupuncture needles, dental instruments, cosmetic devices, etc.), sharing shaving (shaving) knives and toothbrushes, etc.

c. Mother to child transmission: the infected mother can transmit the virus to the fetus or baby during pregnancy, childbirth and lactation. Because HIV infected people's blood, sexual secretions and saliva, tears and milk are infectious, and the AIDS virus itself has certain viability in nature, therefore, it can not be completely ruled out through daily close contact, especially if the personal immunity is low, damaged skin or mucous membrane (such as respiratory tract, digestive tract inflammation, Ulcer) if you accidentally contact the infected person's blood, sexual secretions and even saliva and tears through various channels, you may be infected.

AIDS (AIDS) will not be transmitted through air and food (water). It will not be transmitted through general daily contact in public places (such as handshake, seats in public places, toilets, bathtubs, etc.). It will not be spread through paper money, coins, ticketing and mosquito bites. Swimming pools will not be transmitted.

After HIV infection, the incubation period is 2-10 years. After a short period of acute infection symptoms, it will turn into a long-term asymptomatic stage until the body's immune capacity collapses and enters the late stage of infection. AIDS is actually an advanced stage of HIV infection.

Clinical manifestations of acute HIV infection

1. There are symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection such as fever, fatigue, sore throat and general discomfort

2. Individual has headache, rash, meningitis or acute multiple neuritis

3. There are swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpit and occipital, similar to infectious mononucleosis

4. Hepatosplenomegaly

How to prevent AIDS:

1、 Prevention of sexual transmission

1. Abstinence

2. Abide by sexual morality, be clean and self loving, and maintain a single-minded sexual partner

3. When the other party's HIV infection is unknown, they should adhere to the correct use of condoms

2、 Prevention of mother to child transmission

As for the drug blocking of mother to child transmission, there are relatively mature treatment schemes in the world. At present, the most effective measure is to promote the simple and cheap NVP single dose therapy and artificial feeding. In China, there are still many people think that the mother to child transmission of HIV is still at a low level, and there is a lack of understanding of the fact that there has been significant progress in the treatment of mother to child transmission. All these hinder the effective development of this measure in our country.

1. Women who have the chance of HIV infection should be tested for HIV before and after pregnancy. If HIV antibody is positive, they should carefully consider whether to continue pregnancy;

2. HIV antibody test for newborns;

3. Women infected with HIV should avoid breastfeeding;

4. Due to the application of antiviral drugs, the probability of fetal HIV infection from the mother can be reduced from 28% to 8%.

3、 Prevention of blood borne transmission

1. When blood transfusion is needed, it is required to use blood and blood products that have passed the HIV antibody test.

2. Do not get into the bad habit of using drugs, especially do not share syringes with others.

3. Medical devices that cannot be disinfected reliably are not available.
